Liu Bao tea, produced in Wuzhou, was widely exported to Malaysia from the late 18th century, becoming a common beverage for the local Chinese community during the summer. Although tea production decreased due to wars in the late Qing Dynasty, the establishment of New China led to a growing recognition of Liu Bao tea's export value, resulting in a gradual recovery in production.

本書分為三個主要部分:產區篇聚焦於六堡茶的生產歷史與發展,市場篇則探討六堡茶的外銷與傳播,尤其是在香港和馬來西亞的情況,品味篇分析六堡茶的獨特風味,特別是與馬來西亞人熟悉的“檳榔香”相關的元素。
Additionally, "An In-depth Guide Book of Liu Bao Tea《六堡神鑒》" includes a catalog of 531 Liu Bao tea products, covering multiple periods from post-World War II to the present, providing detailed information on the tea products to help readers understand the characteristics of different historical periods.
